Tips for frozen shoulder

Hi everyone I went to the drs today with severe pain and no movement in my right/arm shoulder. She diagnosed most likely frozen shoulder. Thankfully I have physio next week but if anyone else has suffered with it your best tips for relief/recovery would be really appreciated.

It’s on my weaker side and it’s set off my balance issues :woman_facepalming:t2: not sure what to do about that because I’m not the sort of person to sit and rest all day :joy:

I think waiting for advice from your physio is the best idea, but the NHS site has some tips that might help.

Thank you! I’ve read lots just wondered if anyone had a tried and tested ways to alleviate the pain a bit

My frozen shoulder turned out to be a partial dislocation and calcified bursitus. I’ve had a very painful stay in hospital two failed attempts to get it back in, waking up in resus after I assume passing out :woman_facepalming:t2: absolutely high on painkillers too. I guess as it’s on my weaker side muscle weakness contributed to it as it was spontaneous no injury. :woman_shrugging:t2: pretty frustrated at my gp who didn’t spot it and allowed me to go for days with a dislocation in agony. Onwards and upwards long recovery ahead x
