I’m after a feedback from anyone that’s on Tecfidera or had been in the past. I have been on it for 2,5 years now. Since then, I’ve had what seemed to be 2 relapses. My thinking suggests that the medication is not really doing the job as it is suppose to prolong the time between relapses? Any info hugely appreciated.

Hi Marlena, I’ve been on Tec for over 5 years. In that time, i have had no relapses and every annual MRI has been clear, so not surprisingly i would highly recommend it. My Lympho count dipped one time, but 12 weeks later at next check it had bounced back, so all good.
Different drug (Avonex in my case) but it worked and then it didn’t. If I had my time again, I would’ve been much more proactive about saying look this isn’t working - I need something stronger. By the time I did switch up, quite a lot of permanent damage had been done. So my advice would be: don’t be too polite about it.
