Hi there im new to the MS Society but i just felt i needed to reach out.
I feel so overwhelmed and depressed at this moment in time. Life is just so hard isnt it. Nothing brings me joy and im really struggling both with life and with my MS
I was diagnosed in 2019 and been on Tecfedira ever since and i really want to change treatment as i dont feel like it is doing much at all.

Sorry to read you’re feeling low…. It’s also that time of year when it’s easy to get into a downward spiral of gloom.
I’ve been on Tecfidera for coming up to five years and I’m really happy with it. My understanding is that it is supposed to prevent future relapses, like the old injectable DMDs did which I was on before. It’s not supposed to make existing symptoms better or improve what has already happened. As I haven’t had a relapse since starting it, it is therefore working perfectly for me.
Perhaps get in touch with your MS Nurse and have a chat about it and see what they suggest. Good luck with whatever you decide.
Hi, been on Tecfidera 6 years.
Relapse free and NEIDA in all MRIs for 6 years too. I’d recommend it to anyone.
