Suprapubic Catheter & Clothing

Can anyone help with suggestions/recommendations of clothing to wear with a suprapubic catheter and leg bag. I’m really struggling to find comfortable clothing, especially being a full time wheelchair user due to PPMS causing loss of mobility. Would like to get some nice clothes for the summer months :sun_with_face: Thanks for any help

Hi Rach

I noticed nobody had replied to you and my advice is wide legged trousers as you can get different thickness for each season and the bag is less obvious. Get fabulous tops to dress it up.

Have fun

Hi @RachPPMS So I’m like you as in I wear a suprapubic catheter and at times a leg bag, I use the flip variety, so sometimes at home I don’t always wear the bag, but anyway I’m a full time wheelchair user too, although I’m SPMS.
So recently from M&S and there are other retailers I’ve bought myself some slightly wider leg casual trousers, there linen and not too expensive and look really fashionable and nice, come in 3 colours, navy, black and white, I got all 3, I wore them when I went to meet a friend for coffee and even when my day bag was nearly full you couldn’t tell I was wearing a bag, which for me was a bonus and I dare say it will be for you, I also wear a long line cardigan with them, or if the weather get too warm a tunic, hope this helps and if you find any other clothing I’d like to hear.
Take care,
Jean x
