hi, my wife has been diagnosed with ms just 2 weeks ago. she also suffers with sero negative polyarthritis and fibromyalgia. my wife is 26 yrs old. she has been in and out of hospital with nermurous symtoms she came home yesterday after spending 9 long days in hospitals. myself and her family have made a ms poet page on facebook, the idea came about after my wife had a rough night she couldnt sleep so she put pen to paper and put her feelings and anger into a poem which she then posted on facebook. if you could all maybe help by posting poems with either your own experiences or a poem to my wife. she has found reading this page great for lifting her spirits. the page is call Kylee rawsons ms poet page please like the page and add a comment in no it would help my wife and others alike.

26 and all this…such a shame. I was 45 when my MS like problems began. i`m 60 now!
I dont use facebook, but I am happy to chat to your wife here, if she likes.
I used to write short stories and poems. I`ll have a think and see if I can come up with anything.

I was 26 too when diagnosed I’m 44 now. I too will check out your wife’s F/B page and I have some poems/verses regarding MS Suex

This is very weird. I too was 26 when diagnosed [older now!} Sorry to hear of all the rubbish you are both going through. I’m afraid I am not on facebook, but as Poll said earlier, happy to chat on here if and when you or your wife wants.
By the way, poetry page does sound like a good idea and a way to ‘vent’ some of those feelings.
