I’ve not been on in a while but hope someone can help. My GP has prescribed a 5 day course of methylprednisolone which I am starting in the morning - a bit reluctantly but hoping they will stop this relapse in its tracks before it gets a grip! I’ve had IV steroids previously and felt awful.
This might sound a silly question but I am on Rebif and didn’t ask GP if it’s ok to take it while on steroids? Hoping one of you good people know .

You shouldn’t have any problem with steroids and Rebif.
Oral steroids still have some of the same problems as IV. You’ll get a horrible taste in your mouth so might need some mints or something to take the metallic taste away. You may have trouble sleeping, a bit of teeth gnashing maybe!

Thanks Sue. Much appreciated. I do remember not being able to sleep last time and getting worse before I got better if that makes sense but they did the trick so hoping for the same this time. Fingers crossed.
