The village l live in - is about 10miles from centre of Stratford upon Avon. Every year the village put on a version - 30 mins -of a Shakespeare play. lt is held on the little village green- in front of pub. The cast is made up of very young and very old!! - This year it will be held on Sunday afternoon 27th - outdoors - whatever the weather. Midsommers Nights Dream. The fairies are all men over 60 - beer bellies and all. They will be dancing to ‘Ganglam Style’
We have a flag-pole on the green - and we fly the flag! -for St George. Especially as the pub is called The Green Dragon.
The countryside looks so vibrant - the bright yellow of the Rape seed - bright bluebells - white milkmaids - and the trees and hedges all bursting with blossom/catkins/pussywillow.
My ducks have been busy - two sitting on eggs - so ducklings expected soon.
