Does anyone find they seize up/ when I wake my shoulders and arms feel like they’ve seized my bones in my shoulders are so sore.i find it hard to get comfy Or if I’m sitting on the sofa if I lean on my arm it so sore Em x
I can never sleep in a comfy way any more, wake up aching all over, even tried a new matress
My legs do since my latest relapse when i lost them x
yep:/ its worse during a flare up or relapse. My MS nurse suggested a few things when i told her:
-
new pilllows/matress/bed cover
-
lighter comforter so its not so heavy on muscles/body parts
-
muscle relaxers
-
try not to stay in one positon for too long if possible
5.said pilates/stretching/yoga if you can do it can help. swimming too, anything to help keep the muscles working
so far new pillows and new blankets have helped but not everyday. its odd how something so simple can irrate a problem. sometimes it feels horrible and pain killers dont always help, which sucks
Hi Em, I am lucky that most nights I manage to sleep through without getting up, but it is horrendous most mornings, as I am so very stiff. Ok when I AM up and ok for the rest of the day. Maybe it’s worth mentioning it to the neuro when you next see him. Trevor x
Thanks everyone I have a new bed with a very comfy mattress My pillows are pretty comfy too I know when I slept at mums the memory foam one was so uncomfy didn’t help at all Typical just saw neuro on fri and forgot to mention it as it was scan results and speaking about tysabri x
