Like the blog - much better than some I have seen.
On the job aspect - there are others around who know the employment law better than I do, but why not a claim for wrongful dismissal via an Industrial Tribunal. A lot of employers really hate the IT, and they will often settle out of court rather than face the bad publicity - and from the sound of it you have a very good case.

Thank you for the compliment! It’s great therapy. The MS Society follow me on Twitter and they tweeted yesterday that they’d read my blog and ‘absolutely loved it’. Am still on a high about that, lol.
I am definitely looking into some sort of claim, not for the money (honest), but to make a stand against this kind of discrimination still happening in 2012…
