Same relapse

So I’m now 28 and I had my first symptom when I was 19. And the thing I find strange is most people talk of loss of sensation or different feeling of sensation of the body.but my symptoms have always been muscle weakness rather than numbness or tingling. Every relapse Ive had always seems to weaken a muscle and it’s usually my right side and it usually attacks a part of my body that has been attacked before. Is this strange or common and have any of you other guys experienced this.

I do not think that it is unusual for the same body part / sensation to become a theme of one’s own form of MS;

your immune system gets into the nervous system and starts to demyelinate it. certain areas suffer greater damage than others. these can then have long term / permanent scar tissue, which are less effective insulators than perfect myelin. they in turn are more susceptible to the effects of subsequent immune system attacks and so…

I’m exactly the same.

Its always startswith a weakness in my left leg first, from my thigh down, then gradually my right leg follows, but not as bad.

If I dont rest I just continue to get weaker legs until I just have to stop or collapses, no pain,tingling,numbness ect ect, always the same weakness symptoms every time.

In the 4 years since being diagnosed I cant recall any other symptoms elsewhere in my body.
