Hey all. So about 4 weeks ago my leg went weak all of a sudden. So I put this down to a relapse. It lasted about two weeks. But then not even more After my leg symptom, my right arm has gone really weak. I’m confused because they say to be Count as another relapse it has to be 30 days apart. And if it was the same relapse as my leg wouldn’t It of happend at the same time ? Could anyone shed some light on this. Thank you
My relapsed have tended to come in waves like that - as one symptom is subsiding, the next one is peaking and the one behind that (if things are really bad) is tuning up. I cannot answer your question about whether such things count as separate relapses or all the same one - it has happened to me several times and I never thought to ask! But what is happening to you at the moment certainly chimes with my own experience.
Best ask your MS nurse/neurologist, I think. If you’re in bad trouble and being assailed by one thing after another, it might be time to consider steroids to cool things down.

Hey Alison thanks for your reply. Your comment has given me some relief. Was just worried because ive never experienced a relapse like that before. It was always just like one attack straight away. I wonder if it’s caused by what they say as a active Lesion. Like you say maybe steroids are required.
