My R leg has not stopped twitching and is slightly numb, also noticed my fore finger on my R hand has a mind of its own!!!
Very strange goings on totally driving me mad, dont know when I will get answers to my questions, very complexed disease.
Does anyone else have these kind of symptoms?

Hi Jan
I can get spasms in my leg fairly often. Different things can cause it to happen - if my feet are too hot or cold, if they’re just tired fromhaving been over worked, or often it can be linked to my bladder, and I simply need to empty it fully.
Different things help - stretching or massaging can often help. There’s different drugs you can take too, like baclofen, which I find can be pretty effective.
Hope you get some relief.

hi Jan,
I get twitching a lot in my right leg, also I have patches of numbness. Heat certainly does make my twitching worse but I think my twitching is caused by the pins and needles I get all the time, if one of the pins are a bit sharp it makes my leg jump. I’ve noticed its worse when i am in bed, or probably I am more concious of it when i am laying down.
I try to keep myself supple with yoga, it doesn’t get me too hot and stretches my muscles which helps me. I tend not to take drugs for anything that is not unbearably painful or I can’t deal with.

Hi
I have just been part of a study on leg spasms for people with ms.
This is through sheffield university.
Looking forward to getting the results.

Hi Neil, I have had them for a few months now, and very heavy feeling. My MRI can back as non specific so just see what my GP says.
Good Luck
