Hi
Although i had previously feel numbness in my leg and foot occasionally this last week or more it has gotten very intense, a level of numbness constantly and at night feeling like my leg and foot are about to cramp. Does anyone know if there is anything that would relieve this?
Thanks
Hey, sorry I can’t help but didn’t want to leave your post in answered.
When I’ve had similar I’ve found going for a walk has really helped, as a distraction if anything. It can be so annoying when you’re trying to sleep.
I can certainly relate to some of this as I’ve had constant numbness (well more like pins and needles) in my feet and legs for going on for two years now. It was my first symptom so I’ve had it for longer than my actual diagnosis. I also get what could be described as cramps in my legs although it more like an inability to straighten my legs rather than painful cramp. I was prescribed baclofen which I take every night to lessen the symptoms and it seems to work, although I’ve not tried a night without it for a while. I’d try to speak to your neurologist/GP about it to see if something like that will help.
As for the numbness it’s just something that I’ve gotten used to and accept as part of my baseline symptoms.
