I decided to stop taking Rebif a few months ago.
I didn’t discuss this with anyone and wondered if there would be any problem with going back on the injections again now.
Anyone taken a break and restarted?
I’m not sure if there will be problems. Did you just ring the delivery people to stop delivering the Rebif as they won’t usually stop without speaking to your ms nurse/consultant. That’s what happened when I stopped Copaxone but my neuro had ok’d it. Was there any reason why you felt you could not tell anyone you were stopping because if you were having problems with the medication, the nurse etc. can usually help or advise. I really think your nurse/consultant would have liked to have been informed so they could keep up to speed with what was going on with your ms. Sorry I can’t give you info on restarting but good luck with getting started again.
