Good Morning Everyone,
Due to severe constipation which no laxative or diet could treat and after a lot of tests last year in June I have finally seen someone in the hospital and have been given Prucalopride to start taking. I know this is apparently a very strong pill and I am aware that I could get side affects of headaches, cramps, diarrahea and feeling nauseous but I was just wondering what anyone’s experience has been taking this and any tips as I stupidly looked on the internet and someone said don’t mix alcohol with the tablets and I enjoy my glass of wine in the evening!
If anyone can help me I would be very grateful as I am getting a bit nervous and am starting them on bank holiday Monday just in case I am unwell as I work full time.
