Pivotal years

Hello.

It’s dull here today but I’ve been thinking (dangerous) about the importance of education. Obviously it’s not just what we learn at school or university. I’ve always tried to keep learning. I perish to think how I’d be coping now if I hadn’t taken those initial life changing steps when I’d done my O levels.

I’ve always had goals even though the path to ambition has knocked me about between the walls of the progress gun barrel.

Best wishes, Steve.

good piece of writing again steve,

makes me feel wistful for my first job at 16.

crap wages but enjoyed the friendships.

my boss was a 64 year old man and i realise (with hindsight) that he was a good laugh and caring about the staff who worked for him.
