Pip

hi as if I am not going through enough right now, filled in my pip form, today I got a letter telling me I had to attend an assessment in Glasgow, I told them in my form that I was very unwell right now, going to be getting assessed to see what type of walking aid I can use now as I have developed arthritis in both hands, I have severe pain and cannot travel and am near to having a nervous break down.

My daughter who has a bad back and pulled tendons in her leg got a home visit.

i cannot face even going out the house right now, the thought of it gives me a panic attack,

what can I do, I suffer chronic pain use 2 sticks and suffer sever clinical depression why is it people like me are supposed to travel but I do not mean any harm to my daughter but she got s home visit without even asking

slowly going crazy

You can ask for a home visit.

Just ring them and tell them why you cant attend for an assessment.

I think you`ll be allowed a home visit.

Hello

customers assessed by Capita will get a home visit. ATOS will call people to centres to be assessed. Who does the assessing is dependent on your post code. You could get your GP to do a letter requesting a home visit. You could call them to request a home visit or a nearer centre or they will pay for a taxi.

all the best

A GP’s letter will or ally do the trick for home assessment!

Normally not or ally - bloody hands!
