I am 66, and many years ago was awarded DLA mobility-higher rate -for life. Does anyone know if I will have to be re-assessed when the new PIP allowance comes in?

There are no current plans to replace Disability Living Allowance with Personal Independence Payment for children under 16 and people over the age of 65 who are already receiving Disability Living Allowance.

So you won’t have to go through the tararadiddle - lucky you!
