Hi Darren and welcome, yes the dreaded nerve pain, I think you’ll find a lot on here that have this, bloody hurts, mine used to come and go, now it’s here 24/7, I’m in the process of changing meds for this, I was taking 600mg Gabepentin, now I’m going on Pregabalin, early days yet, and only a low dose so can’t really say much about it at the moment, have you asked about meds, or do you prefer not to take anything, what ever you decide good luck, take care, Jean
Sounds like Neuropathic pain, unless you’ve been playing Rugby etc.A trip to the Neuroligist,a letter from somebody higher than God would help to get a quik appointment. The MS nurses if possible,or a trip to the GP.If it is a good GP,you might end up with the same as the MS Experts might prescribe…If they think it is Neuropathetic pain.
Now for the 'Me me me ’ part.'Cos I have chronic neuropathetic pain I’ve dabbled with the following. over the years ,Amitriptiline,(?) Pregabalin,Carbamazabine,Diclofenac,Lamotrigine and my personal favourite,Gabapentin. There is other stuff out there, and I feel that the ‘pill poppers’ on here will fill in the blanks.

Im having such bad pain in my feet and legs which is getting worse. been struggling to get an appointment with neuro and was told last week that i probably wont be seen untill January. However I am blessed with a very determined daughter In law who rang my Neuro’s secretary this evening and explained things to her and managed to get me an appointment in two days. How amzingly lucky am I to have her.
Iv been on Gabapentin, Amitriptiline and quinine for quite sometime but nothing is touchin this pain at the moment.
Lets see what the neuro has to offer on wednesday
