Me again! Can anyone tell me if optic neuritis counts as one episode of demylinatation.

Not necessarily. Most often the ON is caused by demyelination. But have a look at http://www.rnib.org.uk/eye-health-eye-conditions/optic-neuritis

But you really need to get that information from a neurologist.
