Hello.
The journey home from Liverpool was a smooth affair. Seeing old friends is good. And no-one mentioned the chair. In fact, it hardly gets a mention.
Best wishes, Steve.

Hi Steve
Glad it all went well, and old friends are the best, even when you haven’t seen them for yonks, you are quickly reminded why you were friends.
Your Dad sounds lovely, and you definitely can’t beat a plate of chips…but it has to be brown sauce!
Hope your next trip goes well, you have this sussed now, you have become a seasoned traveller, I take my hat off to you.
Enjoyed reading your blog, thanks.

Wonderful blog Steve. I will go as far to say poetic. (Tweeted it).
Great your mates didn’t even mention the chair. They obviously see you and not the chair.
I saw a bloke yesterday in an electric wheelchair, wearing shorts and t-shirt, looking very fit and tanned and confident. I thought good on you mate.
Your dad sounds brilliant.
All the best,
Pat xx
Nice one, I love your Dad for his gusto
Hope you have a nice break too. I saw some old work friends this week and it was lovely. That kind of thing is just so lovely and yes, comfortable silence is wonderful

So Pat, you saw a bloke who looked fit & confident, wearing a T Shirt, Shorts and a nice tan and you thought “good on you mate”. I too think that for any admirable person for whatever reason.
But when and why did we stop thinking “Phwoar”
