Oh she sounds lovely and what a great comfort she must have been to you during these awful times, so many bereavements and change is difficult.

Animals give so much love to ease things for us humans. I love Jack Russels’ as my mother had many of them over the years and they were all calm too (not yappy at all like people think they are).

Otto is still young. I never thought I’d get another one after my last one died at 15 and I was bereft for years - he was such a part of the family. But after years past and once I retired thought I’d get one for company and he is so so so loving so I’m glad he joined me.

I’m waiting for my GPs telephone call at 3.30 but I keep falling asleep so hope I manage to wake up enough to speak. Enjoy the trundle up to the bins :kissing_heart: M

Hi, Yes playing ball in the house is a daily event for us, he sometimes brings the ball back but other times teases me but eventually comes back as I can’t get to him - fun times.

I had a really good telephone appointment and the GP is going to do a full blood check things for me. I’m so exhausted and falling asleep all the time so am pleased to get the help. I got suppositories and catheters too. She’s going to organise a face to face meeting to discuss everything as I had a very long list of ailments plus my heart hurts so she’s going to look into that for me.

I feel relieved that I finally discussed my ailments with her as I’ve felt so ill but didn’t want to bother them because of their workload with Covid.

I fell asleep 3 times yesterday then was in bed at 6pm last night and just realised my outdoor wheelchair was left uncovered and of course it rained last night - so I’ll have a wet bum today when we go wheelies

so glad your appointment went well. dont deny yourself comfort from doctors because of covid, they are ok and you should still receive adequate support and advise.

I dont fall asleep like that i am physically fatigued not sleepy fatigue lol. I go to bed every night at 5pm i have had it by then, and just lay in my bed and chill out for 2 hours watching golden girls and MASH, I know sad or what but i love both of them easy to watch. I hate SOAPS so dont watch t.v.

Oh dear nowt worse then a wet bum at the best of times when one has to get to loo on time lol.

I hope once you get the blood tests back you will start to feel better.

Its too warm in bungalow today makes my legs and back burn like its on fire. ugh.

just waiting now for my cleaner to arrive at 1pm, so watching a bit of nOWTV to while away the day.

Lucy is snoring lol. xxxx

Hi CC I love Emmerdale and Coronation Street and watch them in bed or if I fall asleep I try to catch up with them at the weekend. I often miss the shows but try to keep up with the plots if I can.

I got a text from the Drs to say my medications were ready for collection. I sent my husband to get them, I was so pleased because my arms are so very stiff and I really though they could be eased today. It’s a 10 mile round trip to the Drs from where we live, but when he got there they said there wasn’t a prescription ready to be picked up! So I was on the phone to them for 20 minutes and they said yes they sent a text because part of the order was ready but then didn’t give it to him because they were waiting for the whole order. I want to scream but that’s probably just because I’m feeling so ill and now frustrated.

Such is life. Hopefully I’ll get the medications tomorrow.

It’s dull up in Yorkshire today so no burning legs for me.

I also haven’t been able to take Otto for he daily walk up the lane because my wheelchair is soaking  so he’s had to have a romp around the garden by himself.

Happy days. :kissing_heart: Mx
