Hello

This is my first post since 2011/12. Ill try not make this a long post.

History

1998 ,hospitalised, 7 day pain in limbs, speech issues.

On going sensory issues,

Hospitalised 2013, stomach, bowel, low blood pressure/sugar, sharp nerver pain in tummy.

2021, 5 days in hospital with nausea, dizzy ness.

Since Dec 2023

Severe burning of legs, back, migraine, ,cognitive issues.

Felt better in May but balance issues back with burning legs and back pain.

Mri in 2011, one stop on brain, and Thoracic spine.

Mri in 2024 clear on brain, modest degenerative in neck. No MS

Balance test failed with ENT.

Where do i go from here,

Back to see ENT in August ,should i go for second opinion as balance is intermittent or should i just wait and see will it all stop again.

I know something is happening but it may be another while as it slow.

Thanks for reading.

Sorry you’ve been through such an ordeal.
You mention seeing an ENT, though it’s not clear if they have a diagnosis - perhaps they’ll tell you that in August.
You say you’ve had MRIs - have you actually seen a neurologist? If you haven’t, and there’s no clear diagnosis, perhaps you could ask about a referral. Sometimes neurology departments seem to be willing to give you on an annual scan if your results are sufficiently concerning to be worth watching.

Hi Leonora

Thank you.

I have seen a Neurologist in April 2024 and was also referred to ENT, went to ENT after Neurologist and he said no MS.

Back to ENT next month, she said Neurologist should do more tests, so im not sure where i stand at moment,

Balance issues back again its probably to mild to detect maybe, i just know so.ething gling on.

Im just wondering what else to do, My GP said they monitoring but is there anything i can do to help the dizziness and balance issues.

Legs feel a bit unusual too.

Thank you
