Hi everyone

I am in a real dilemma. Has anyone had to go private to get a diagnosis?
After about 20 years of signs/symptoms and 3 doctors telling me that they think MS but not willing to refer me for diagnosis, I just need a yes it no because Iโ€™m really quite ill and live alone and worry about what is going to happen next as I go about my daily housebound life
Thank you for reading x

If you can manage it, a private first consult can be a good investment. Also a first MRI if the doctor wants one and funds allow. Try to see privately the person whose NHS list youโ€™ll then be referred back into if thatโ€™s deemed necessary.

Iโ€™m mighty puzzled! Three doctors think itโ€™s MS but arenโ€™t willing to refer you?? Have you asked them why not ?
