I was told then that this was not a definite dx I’m now showing signs of it having made a return in just 1 eye again so I went back to my GP who was concerned, as I’m having other symptoms again seems to happen 2/3 times a yr n last for about 4/6 wks I’m now awaiting a referral app to come thro from the Neurologist again but have been warned that I could have upto 3months wait and that’s as an urge t!! sorry it’s been a long post  but its nice to read that others are going thro some of the things I’m going thro and that I’m not in fact going mad after all lol cheers guys  Lou x

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I’m sorry that you are in limbo land waiting for a diagnosis. It can be a nerve-racking time. I hope it’s not too long before you know one way or the other. Don’t forget to live life while you’re waiting.

You will find lots of folk like you on the New Diagnosis and Before diagnosis boards. (Nothing wrong with posting in Everyday living though)

Jane

Hi Jane thanks  I intend on living life to its fullest ( body permitting lol) hadn’t realised I’d posted in Everyday oops knew I was bound mess it up lol but oh we’ll it was more about me biting the bullet so to speak n finally having the courage to post at all  ta

Hi Lou,

I know exactly how you feel. My neurologist also wouldn’t commit to a diagnosis back in 2000. Then after 3 attacks in 2006 he decided to discharge me. In 2007 I had another attack and had to get another referral to another Doctor who wont commit and is just as negative and won’t push for any treatment. On a positive note in 2008 I read about acid alkaline and how our diet is now very acid balanced. I looked at the list of alkaline foods and now eat cut up raw lime and drink with water. That was my last attack.

Best Wishes
