New symptom??

Hi.

I am un DX and awaiting appt with neuro.

Over past week I have been aware of pins and needles in my face. It is not all the time just every now and again, but it is happening dozens of times a day, every day, for the past week or so.

Is this a symptom that I need to tell neuro when I see him, or is it a case of me just being hyper aware of my face as I already have Trigeminal Neuralgia in the opthalmic branch. It is not massively bothersome and its not worrying me, but don’t want to take too huge a list of symptoms to the neuro and look neurotic! lol

A long list is not usually a good idea, but if you are going to say trigeminal neuralgia, it won’t take more than a few seconds to add, “and I also get intermittent pins and needles on my face”.

Don’t add too many extras though; it’s usually best to stick to the major symptoms. Makes it simpler!

With the pins and needles in my face, it takes the list up to 7! Great idea on how to mention it.
