I’m a manager of a sheltered housing scheme and have a resident with MS, I am really concerned at the moment about her mental health. She had a fall in early December and broke her leg, it’s still not healed and she is bed bound. I had messages over the weekend that really concerned me and went in to see her. I spent a couple of hours with her and hopefully helped her realise that she has so much support. One of her daughters lives in South Africa and the other one lives a few hours away and is having a problematic pregnancy so she is really isolated, I have suggested that she joins the local MS group but she is reluctant? I just need some advice on what and how to do the right thing?
I hope she’s found some company. Good of you to be trying to help.
