Do you have to pay to go there? Theres one down the road would love to go
i go to the one at trafford.
its a charity and i pay a subscription but what you get is worth far more.
go along and ask about it.
it may be different and you may not need to pay anything.

Wondering the same catmummy, are u feeling any better. Does anyone go to the bristol ms centre? Zoe
I go to the MS Therapy centre in Bradley Stoke, Bristol.
I’ve just finished by oxygen saturation so I’ve got used to going there after 15 ‘dives’ in 3 weeks!
It’s well worth a visit. Have a look at the website to get an idea of what goes on there. Everyone is freindly, and there are dogs there sometims!
I forgot to say, it ‘costs’ £20 to join for a year, and you have to pay a small donation for treatments. Otherwise it’s free. If you are struggling finacially they’d rather you had the treatment than worry about the cost.
Give it a try. On the last Friday of the month there is a Friday club with all sorts of things going on so that may be a good day to go and meet people as well as learn what goes on.
I hope they forgive the url…
Thanks its just plucking up the courage to go really, I have thought about the oxygen therapy have u found it beneficial yet. It seems alot to go everyday for 3 weeks is this the normal structure. Im also a bit afraid as ive only been diagnosed since oct 2012 and although I read alot about the condition it does make me down when im faced with all the damage it can do, but saying that I suppose meeting people in different stages of the disease and seeing that they still gdt on in life is inspirational and could help face my fears. It just nice to chat to people who understand , so I think when the kids are back at school im might go for a visit xxxx
I rang them and got a appointment for next friday im walking like a penguin but at least walking lol xx
Hi I have been going for 11 years and am on the committee in Leeds. We have been closed for 3 months as moving sites due to a fire at our old site. I have been struggling since it closed so gotta have some positive effect. We suggest 15 dives to start to saturation the red blood cells. We rely on donations so suggest a donation for the dive to support our charity. Great for meeting and chatting. Regards Neil
Pop along, I was curious about what they offer so with prior arrangement I spent the best part of two hours last week being shown around the centre in Reading and learning about the cost of therapies available, which are considerably good value compared to normal charges. Well worth the “membership fee” which I’ve just sent off. Good luck Paul
Think it will be nice to meet others with ms too i dont know anyone x
At the Bristol there is a lot of fun and laughter - including people in wheelchairs still enjoying life to the full! I never believed that was possible, and though life was going to be unbearably bleak until I met people there proving that that’s not the way it has to be.
I have found the oxygen saturation has made a difference already. I can walk a lot better and I have more energy. I don’t get vision problems when I’m a hundred meters into a slow walk! I still get absolutley exhausted, but I’m doing more before it hits.
Thanks so much Ellen, maybe we will bump into each other one day. Good luck catmummy you could do with some support and enjoyment xxx
Hello
I go to the MS Therapy Cerntre at Halton, near Aylesbury. /there is only one word - fantastic. I started going intermittently in 1998, now go every week. The staff are so kind and generous. Nothing is too much trouble. They know you by name and they understand MS and the problems.
I go for physio, I’m a bit dubious of the benefits of ‘oxygen therapy’. Clinically unproven but if you feel better then go for it.
The one near Aylesbury is a hiddem gem of the Chilterns.
