MRI result help

New diagnosis and before diagnosis

Hi,

i have been trying to read as much as possible but I am completely baffled and wondered if anyone could give me some help on what these very basic results could mean in layman terms.

Several subcortical lesions in the brain and a more shapely defined elision on the right side is the spinal cord at T2 level.

My appointment is not for several months so wondered if someone could explain the meaning in English?
