Hi to all, I havnt been on for a while as we have moved from a 4 bed house to a 2 bed bungalow in killamarsh we live in the same area we moved on saturday with a lot of help from family by the end of the 2 days sorting things my legs felt Really sore n stiff like i was a cardboard cut out n i couldnt move last time we are moving for sure. All went very well indeed. I have a question for you i went today to hosp eye clinic this morning n saw consultant after a visual fields test he said to me when i go bk in 4 mnths time he wants me to have a nerve conduction test what is it. I told him and he saw i was having muscle spasms in front of him he was trying to do a pressure test in my eyes i couldnt keep them open as i am also diabetic. N when i go in shower eyes go into spasm too cus of the heat ect. Thankyou for reading. Dolphin_500.

hi dolphin

hope you are very happy in your new bungalow.

that feeling of upheaval really sets my ms off.

my hubby bought a load of reclaimed timber and fitted it in our downstairs.

i was at sixes and sevens, at one point there was nowhere to sit downstairs.

you will start to recover once you have rested (a lot!).

be happy

Hi Carole58, Thankyou for uour reply do you know if i can get a loan/grant from council to buy new carpets wardrobes and flooring from the council to be paid back fortnightly at all. Or shall i just phone n ask if we can get one. Thankyou for your reply. Dolphin_500.

dunno about a council loan…ring and ask, they cant shoot you for asking!

You`ll find life much easier in a bungalow…once you recover from all the hard work.

Hi Poll, Thankyou for your kind words we are finding this move to be a great experience so much easier to get to shops buses 10 mins away. Only got a few more things to sort out then all done. No more going up the massive hill was so tiring ect and did my legs n hips in. This is the Best Thing ive have ever done just dont belive it has actually happened at last. We went up earlier to other house took 4 hours to clean with help from a friend can take keys bk tomoz at last carnt wait. Dolphin_500.

hi dolphin

there are charitable organisations who help with furnishings but i don’t know which ones will be in your area.

the hospice shop in wigan had some wonderful furniture and it was rehomed by my dad and his partner.

so find out where the local charity shops are and if they don’t have anything try ebay.

enjoy your new place.
