I’m anting to move and have a mortgage broker looking at rates for a new mortgage for me. Has anyone got a recent mortgage offer at a competitive rate while recieving benefits.

I got my mortgage through the Halifax. I work part time, but also get tax credits & DLA. If I remember right, they took into account the DLA but not tax credits. They’re not the cheapest rates, but my mortgage advisor recommended them. I took a 2 year fixed rate, which expired recently. My mortgage advisor looked at others, but recommended I stick with the Halifax, basically because they overvalued my flat. This meant I got a much better LTV than I would have got with another lender, so got a much better interest rate.
