I’ve spent the last half hour typing a message (to you Sssue!) with the knuckle of my left hand. The screen froze and then, despite back arrowing in the hope of finding it, it was gone! Grrrr.

Please, please please can you have it that anything typed is saved as a draft??? The week has been frustrating enough as it is without that.

Poppy what a frustrating bummer

Can you not get hold of one of those devices that you speak to and it types?

Is there such a thing? If not, why not?

Well the shittest year in living memory has been and gone, hopefully never to darken our doors again.

wishing you a year of minimal frustration.

Thank you both for your ideas. I just didn’t expect to hav expect to lose it. F#@#@##!

To be on the safe side I’ll perhaps type on word then paste. Still don’t think automatic save as draft is too difficult to organise though.

I often type, then copy just in case it gets lost. Easy to paste afterwards should it happen and less hassle than going down the Word draft route.

My screen froze so I couldn’t do anything, not even space, scroll, so copying wasn’t an option.

Under those circumstances you should “metaphorically” throw your device out of the window, bellow like a wounded rhino, walk / trundle away, get a coffee / gin / wine / choccy and move on to som ething else. Once you feel less angry, turn the application off, reboot the device and think about starting again. If it is not worth the bother, have another drink / choccy and worry about it later. Repeat as necessary… eventually it wil either work or you will get bored.

love your ideas Mick. I`m trying to get to grips with a new tablet and yes, I could throw it out the window!

Love your style Mick. I had a couple of BIG Baileys then went to bed. Next day I just sent an email.
