Magnets fatigue?

I’m exhausted most of the time but also like magnets pulling my legs down quite painful. Thank you for reading

Hiya susan,

Have you tried speaking with the OT, as they can help with ways of dealing with fatigue and how it impacts on your daily life. Do you get enough sleep, exercise, healthy diet, not too much caffeine, plus there’s also medication that can help unless you’re like me and have high blood pressure.
In my area we have a community integrated neurology team, I hope the OT is able to assist you.

Hi Sysan11, I’m nrspms and my fatigue is off the wall, doesn’t matter how much, or how little sleep I get, I eat a really healthy diet, exercise when I’m able, but I’m in a wheelchair and have a lot of other issues, so not always easy. I’ve been to fatigue management classes, taking the meds and nothing helps, too be fare I think this is the case for a lot on here, however I would get in touch with your team if you have one, because if you haven’t tried these things it might be worth ago, you might be one of the lucky ones, good luck and take care.

I know this is probably the case but are you taking vitamin D? My fatigue was crippling last year. There were far more days with it then without! But since taking vitamin D it’s made a huge difference to the level of fatigue. I also find that strength work outs rather than anything that involves jumping/running/walking is far better for fatigue. I do get fatigue sometimes after and can’t function the rest of the day but overall I’m more physically able and the fatigue is a lot less.

Also I mainly eat protein veg and some fruit and I’ve found this has made a huge difference.

Another thing I’ve started is Lions Mane tablets, that’s made a huge difference to cognitive side of things

Fatigue is crippling and people who don’t experience it just simply don’t get it.

Vitamin D took about 3 months to make a difference for me

Lions mane I noticed the effect about a month after taking it

With the strength work outs I had to push through the usual stiffness and muscle soreness but after a few work outs that improves and levels out and you do get more energy from it.

I hope you find something to help! It really doesn’t ruin the day, week, month.

Take care
