Hi All
My lumbar puncture was yesterday and it went very well. The worst bit for me was the anaesthetic which was like a bee sting. The procedure went smoothly first time and all was good. No headaches as yet .
I am tired today (no change there then LOL!!) but have spent the morning in bed and have now had a lovely lunch prepared by my wonderful, very supportive, darling husband.
Next booked test is full MRI towards the end of this month.
There was a group of people in the area next to my bed when I was lying down after the procedure and they were all MSers having tysabri infusions. Although I don’t know what is wrong with me it was great to hear this positive group of people chatting away about their ms and all the things they are still doing despite their condition, as well as general chit chat like at any social event! Definately inspirational that these people were SO positive! Whatever my ‘condition’ turns out to be, I hope I am as positive as that group of people.
Hope you are all having a good day
