Hi Jo
No DIAL near you but if you google Disability Croydon you will find the help and advice you need. They are a charity run by disabled people for disabled folk in the Croydon area. The will give you all the help, advice, and even advocacy you need to conduct a meaningful appeal. I have personal experience of a similar group and they were and continue to be an absolute godsend
Best wishes John
Thanks John. I will take a look at Disability Croydon and see what they may be able to help me with.
Best wishes,
Jo
Hiya, I have finally got my appointment at St Georges. I’m so intrigued about what will happen next. I’m hoping I’ll have time to talk about it with the Dr and not rushed out. Best wishes, Jo
Jo, hope you get some answers. Take a list of q’s in your hand & put it on the desk when you arrive. (I took a list & forgot to get it out !)
good luck,
hugs
Thanks Sarah. I was thinking about taking some questions with me. I must think about it a bit more. I’ve just sent my favourite band an email asking if they would come to the local Folk Club (that my Dad organises) and do an acoustic set for me (and others). I hope they will consider it. I just about made it to their show up town and I had to cancel the one I was going to in Oxford. This condition is really crap (Sorry again for moaning.) Best wishes, Jo
