Hi There Bren, So good to se a friendly face !! Its taken me yonks to get back into this new forum and i dont like it. We were all in what i call a friendly comunity. So glad to se that Anitra is still around. Where is Polly? Bless her. I loved to read her post. Still Rome wasn,t built in a day. Before you start thinking that a lot of money goes on unreasonable wages for the hierarchy of the society may I point out that by Law the accounts must be published and although I can only find accounts up to 2007 for every £1 raised 1p is spent on governance (cost wages etc). What the brainless Bear here was trying to do was object to the comparison of the staff to monkeys and point out that 1 penny in the pound from 31.9 million is still a reasonable amount of dosh by her standards. Clarexxx (bear = very little brain!)
No I did a bit a the start but I’m getting to like this everyday I same to find something new it just takes time and we have to play around with we wont break it. Mark.
I REALLY dislike this new site! Made even worse by them deleting my old profile so all the people I had been speaking too have been deleted and I can’t remember their profile names! Not particularly helpful for a support group!

Yes,. I feel it is very cold here now. I also get the uneasy and rather unpleasant feeling that this was done deliberately. I don’t even want to go to the reasons why. There are kids at primary school who would do an infinitely better job than this if you gave them the remit of folk with M.S. This looks like it has been created by ATOS for the sole purpose of jettisoning people out into the ether and never to return to skeletal heights. See how many stark HTML boxes you can stomach in one go. As usual. Something good painted over with grim austerity. ie. this website.
I’m not really missing the old site I was at the start but I’m really begining to like this site. I know there’s some who don’t like change but I love it I always like to learn something new my MS brain wouldn’t be great but I’m like a dog with a bone I won’t let it get the better of me. I just believe we’d get stuck in the past if we didn’t. There’s people out there that need our help and support and I for one will try my best to help I was like that once and the good people on the site give me all the help and support I needed and met some really good friends along the way. I think the site is pretty good if only people would give it a chance. Everything when Its new takes time to get the gremmlings ironed out. This is my veiw I drove trucks all my working life and never did I come agross a new model that was 100% right after it was released when we got new models of trucks that where never on the market before they where kept working around home to begin with long before we got our hands on them to do cross channel work and be away all week it was the mkll two models before everything was sorted out. I’m sure this site will be the same we just have to learn to walk before we can run. Mark

Mark has it - we need to ‘run it in’ a thing we are not used to doing nowadays, everything brand new off the shelf MUST work perfectly or it is sent back. When my daddy bought a new car he had to ‘run it in’, the new lawnmower ‘running it in’, the hedge trimmer - yup you guessed it ‘running it in’!!! :lol: :lol: I am happy here; 
I was happy before and understand that tec moves on and especially that software doesn’t come with endless updates. There came a time when I had to overwrite my trusty windows 98 with 7! At first I was all to cock :? with the new windows, now I am loving it. Same with this site; and I can’t wait for the upgrade

Yes, I miss the old forum, I can remember when it changed last in 05, I soon got use to it then. The worst thing is i have lost a really good Buddy & if she dosen’t re register we will never be able to contact each other again, also i hate not being able to see who the orginal poster is instantly, ( I don’t know any other forums like this). I could go on but me moaning won’t do any good so I hardly ever bother to log on now. M
