She’s actually a neurology nurse specialist - she deals with me for my MS and my epilepsy. I suppose I’ve known her for maybe 2 years now. Her and my missus get on brilliantly. They’re always in contact if I have a seizure. If she speaks to me, everything is fine and going well - she’s learned that she gets a more direct honest answer from my missus which, is ok. As we get to know each other more over time, the relationship just gets better and better. She even seems to be getting used to my sense of humour. She’s a lovely lady and, worth her weight in gold ![]()
We had a meeting with her on Monday this week. When we got there and she asked how I was doing - my answer ‘top of the world, never better’ did get a laugh.
We went over my recent tests and scans and, everything looks good for me to start Kesimpta in a couple of months. I received a letter this morning that has also gone to my GP.
I’ll be having an ultrasound on bladder and a respitory check soon then, she wants me fully vaccinated then, an appointment will be booked for a nice lady to come and see me to check that I’m ok using the Kesimpta pens (it looks easy enough) and putting a box in my fridge.
I’ve been given a DMT notification card to put in my wallet with all of the other medical cards now.
All of a sudden, it feels like progress has sped up again and, of course, the sun is shining so, happy days.
I hope you’re all doing well and having a good time ![]()
Best wishes to you all ![]()
