Help me please

Hope a lazy day helped Cath, Take care of yourself, Nina x

Hi Cath.only just got back on the forum, I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you in your time of need, its good to hear your feeling better! And everyone’s messages of support.

There must be something in the air I myself have been suffering with joint and muscle pain its been slowly building up for 2 weeks, I’m in agony today but I have overdone things this week.

Talking about relapses in ppms - my Consultant sent me a copy of a report my ppms diagnosis had with relapses next to it.

I don’t know what’s going on. I’ve had more Oramorph this last fortnight than the previous 6 months put together. I went back to bed after Jen left for school yesterday as I felt so awful. It’s something I very rarely do, and suffered most of the night again. It’s a quiet day today and tomorrow methinks, will sit back and enjoy the sunshine.

Thanks again for the kind thoughts and comments.

Hi Cath

Sorry to hear you had a bad night, hope today things are being kinder to you.

Do you think on Monday it would be best for you to have a word with your ms nurse, you should nit have to be in so much pain. I dont know whether morphine patches would have a better effect rather than the liquid, but it maybe worth asking, just in case.

Sendingbyou (hugs)))) to let you know you are not alone.

Hi Cath, I agree with Pam… you should speak to MS nurse. It’s awful that you are suffering like this. Thinking of you hon & hoping things improve very soon… in meantime, rest as much as possible and remember that we are all here for you. Pat xx

I’m seeing my nurse on Wednesday and I’ll have a word with her. I hope you feel better soon too Pauline. It’s not funny is it when you’re in pain. I’m at least able to order around today and I’m catching up my ironing, just doing bits and resting in between. I actually find it quite therapeutic, I know that makes me sound really sad but it’s true.

I’m catching up my tv I missed and have a couple of films to watch. Just watched “Captain Phillips”, a really good one and might start now with “Gravity” sitting down with a brew contemplating and catching up with you all.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

A random suggestion, but have you looked into Arnica?

I find the hole homeopathic medicine a bit silly and flimsy BUT, arnica is recognised a little bit in modern medicine.

As someone who rode horses (I mean I fell a few times) then poledanced (metal pole= bruises), I have used arnica for bruises for years but it’s an excellent anti-inflamatory.

Take care

I’m happy to hear your seeing your nurse on Wednesday, I hope resting up has eased your pain a little at least. Thanks for your good wishes.

Kath,

I read that someone had recomended “special Browneys” Well if they are what i think they are, They made my legs turn into rubber legs. All the pain you are having is no joke. I now take to my bed when the situation is dire. If you need pain relief take it. I send you (((Hugs))) and good luck for wednesday.
