I dont no how to start but this is place I can only come to I went to the toilet do pee and as I went to stand up soft poo just fell out of my bum and I never felt a thing is this something which happens with ms Please help Thanks

Hello there,I understand your concerns.Have you eaten anything unusual,or picked up one of the bugs which are floating around at the moment? What you describe could be part of your version of MS.

I suggest that the next time you go for a piddle try massaging your tummy,starting between the belly button and your parts,call this 12 oclock and moving up to the rib cage,6 oclock then around to where you started in a clockwise direction.This will help your bowels shift anything before you stand, when gravity takes over.

This thing may be a passing episode or it might happen more often.A trip to the GP may be in order, if it persists, and he/she/it can sort something out for you.We understand your embarrassment, but there is no need for the Anon,as nobody is bothered.

This happens to me quite often :frowning: not nice when you cant get to the bathroom quick enough either :frowning: i have very little feeling between my legs and my neuro & ms nurses say this is quite common!! I replied privately as I sometimes get too embarresed to post about these kind of things. You are not alone I’m sure there are others the same

i was taking movicol, on advice from continence nurse. i stopped taking it because i had episodes like you.

now i’m constipated so i took 2 earlier. what will tomorrow bring? lol

I was taking movicol but like carole it made it too easy to go! Its not nice when someone turns off the warning sensation. Woblyboy is right, this sounds like you need to see your gp or ms nurse. They can point you in the right direction.

hiya

yes-used to be very frequent,now less. i use peristeen x2 a week. i have lost 2 and half stone recently-cant taste and choking issues blah blah but in the past 3 weeks i have made a huge effort to eat more and that has caused some new (temp i hope!) issues. so sometimes now my bowel opens without warning again but once it and i get used to food again am sure it will settle…

info re peristeen easily found in a search-i like it cos no medication involved,just water.
