Help explain MRI please.

I’ve had MS since the early 90’s only two MRI’s the first in 2004 when I got my diagnosis, the second last year for which I have just had the results. I understand most of it but need the following clarified.

Right frontal enhancing lesion indicating disease activity. Does this mean active now or in the past?

Lesions in the brain stem and middle cerebral preduncle which is explaining the presentation.
Does this mean it explains the MS?

Sorry it’s probably obvious, I should be ashamed I don’t know more about the condition I live with daily :relaxed:
Thanks

My interpretation of it would be as follows:

As the lesion is enhancing it shows that the inflammation is still active, so it is a recent one.

The second item I read as that the type of symptoms you have can be explained by the location of your lesions.

If you are still not sure or want further clarification, maybe have a discussion with your GP as I presume they will have been sent the same report.

Thank you for responding, I’ll be speaking to my Neurologist next month So I will discuss with her.
The idea behind my MS Nurse referring back to a Neuro was to see if I could qualify for Siponimod however the letter says no.
Stay safe
