I also think the weather here is best. I lived in South Africa for 25 years and on the highveld where we were it got really hot and humid in summer as we had no rain at all in winter so most evenings we had the most spectacular thunder storms but the summers were really too hot and as a red head I burnt very quickly. Winters were very dry and it’d go down to -17C at night and in the morning and overnight, there’s no double glazing or central heating so you really feel it, then at mid day you get bearable temperature which plummets again at about 4pm.
At least here we’re prepared for the weather and we don’t usually get 4 seasons in a day. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. But I’m loving the current weather.
