Headache issues?

Hello, I’ve have Relapse and Remitting MS and had it for 12+ years.

Back in February I had a really bad infection. Even tho it eventually cleared up after taking 2 courses of Antibiotics, I have suffered from tension like headaches ever since. I mentioned this to my MS nurse and she never really helped with the issue. She never confirmed if it was MS related or something else.

So my question is: Are Headaches a thing with MS sufferers? I’ve rarely suffered with headaches since I was diagnosed. But I’d say I’ve suffered these headaches 70% of the past 3 months.

I understand we are all unique with our symptoms but can anyone confirm that these headaches are an MS thing? Cause it’s genuinely worrying that it has been this consistent.

I went to see a my GP a few weeks ago and like always, they shrug their shoulders and blame it on my MS.

Apologies for the wall of text.

According to the professor of neurology at Barts, headache is indeed a fairly common problem in MS. Sadly, it’s not much help, but hopefully, will provide some clarity.

Thank you this. It may sound bizarre, but it’s good to hear that headaches are “thing”. I’ve been stressing for weeks about it.

More confirmation, if you can possibly stand it.
