Seen consultant in 2021 said might be ms but asked for another MRI said I would see them again in June 2021 it’s now October 2022 as kept moving the appointment and then I received a phone call off ms nurse saying they would send details through with who to contact when I need too? And I’m due to see the consultant to discuss any treatments.
If its anything like the system I’m faced with, I get an annual appt with Consultant but for anything to get done in between, I have to go through the MS Nurse team and I have one (of the 5) who is “my” Nurse. You phone up, leave a message and they get back to you within 2 days, as per the answering message. In the last year, they’ve finally added an email, so can converse with them that way. Anything that needs to go to the Consultant goers via the Gatekeepers - sorry, Nurses. I do actually have a number, name & email for the Consultant’s Med Sec and she was helpful during lockdown. Still copy her in sometimes to make sure the message gets through.
Hi thank you for helping me I will keep that in mind, it just seemed a strange way of them doing it.
I suppose it’s something I will have to get used to
