Well a lot of people have no problems at all. But the attempt that worked didn’t really hurt at all. But I’m more than a little chubby so I don’t think that helped matters! I was quite sore for a few days afterwards and had a headache but I just took it easy for a few days.
I had my lumbar puncture in the middle of January and got a letter from the consultant at the end of February to confirm it was postive. He confirmed the diagnosis when I saw him in April. Because my lesions weren’t typical of MS the lumbar puncture was needed for diagnosis.
