I received a letter through my door from atos refusing my home visit assessment so I got in touch with my local mp . He got in touch with welfare rights officers and asked me to fax medical evidence (so I did) they then wrote to me granting me with 3 years support group and signed me off with out assessing me A few days passed & received 13months back pay they owed me, I then got a phone call from my neurologist nurse regarding my JC results (I told her a couple of days before the phone call I still want to tysabri as my ms is seriously active after I relapsed twice within 10 days) but she called to say my results came back and I’m Jc negative so I’m still chuffed. Don’t let dwp&atos make you feel intimidated go & visit you’re local my mp worked for me

Hello, I have my ATOS in two weeks time. Have been not well enough to work for last 16 months but am starting 2.5 hours of volunteer work a week or fortnight to get me back into work, starting this Tuesday. I expect they will conclude i’m fine to work now.
Hi Martin, that`s brill news…on both counts.
It helps others when we here positive stories.
luv Pollx
I relapsed with my whole right side then 5 days after relapsed with my left (Stuck in a wheel chair) yet atos still tried telling me I couldn’t have a home assessment so I took my case to my local town mp which he was not happy the slightest and got on to them ASAP. My message is if u can’t go don’t feel intimidated by these doctors and dwp. If they can’t meet you’re needs (within reason) take it further.
