Hi Thanks for that. I am 41 but my husband is 57 so we had to take the term we were offered because of his age so can’t extend it. And pre diagnosis we had just changed from interest only to repayment, so are now licked in to the deal for two years!! We are in schtuck position!! I really can’t face going back to work so we are going to have to consider the very real alternative that neither of us want to…all this and we’ve only been married little over a year!!! Life has a perverse sense of humour.

when you are locked into a deal this usually refers to the interest rate only, you may still be able to change the repayment method or look at payment holidays…hope this helps.
