Hi there has anyone had any reliable advice / self-discovered what a “good” / “effective” dose of gabapentin is pls ? My neurologist says between 300mg and 3600mg per day. A wide range, and as such not that helpful (no disrespect intended towards the neurologist concerned). Thanks !

The dosage range is a wide one with Gabepentin. They will usually start you off on a low dose and titrate it up gradually to the dose that is best for you. It’s trial and error I’m afraid.
Not everyone gets on with Gabepentin, but there are other neuropathic painkillers out there, so don’t be shy to ask if it doesn’t work for you.
