Hi all, not been on here for a while but i’ve a quick question for the collective.
For a couple of months i’ve been having pain in my feet like i’m walking on pebbles and they are pressing in between what i’d describe as the nuckles of my toes. I feel it most when i get up on a morning even before i get up and walk around which i do trying to put as much weight on my heels. A week or so ago i had it pretty bad at bed time it hurt just moving my toes and just laying in bed not moving at all to be honest. Generally it eases off during the day but it’s always there to some degree.
I’ve not been to the doctors about it (i’m a bloke) but now i am wondering if it could be my MS and was just wondering if anyone has had similar.
I don’t know Alex but, for what it’s worth, I have had very much the same thing when in mid-relapse in the past (there was all sorts of other MS stuff going on too).
‘Walking barefoot on pebbles’ is how I tried to describe it as well.
I suffer from this in my right foot, sometimes the pain is so bad I just cannot put any pressure on it.
Is it worse in the mornings ?
It’s so easy to blame every little niggle and pain on MS, I know because I usually do, but after visiting a podiatrist (foot specialist) he very quickly diagnosed Plantar Fasciitis.
It may very well be the MS, but it’s always wise to check out other things just in case .
I’m now having physio to try and help with my Planter Fasciltis.
