Hi. Just wanting some advice on how to find a private neurologist. I’ve been waiting on NHS for months to see someone, but still no idea how long it will be. I have been unable to work since January of this year. I feel like i am just sitting at home, getting worse.
Ive had a look on Google for private neurologists, but i realised I have no idea what I should be looking for. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
Talk to your GP. They’ll know the local scene.
Try ringing your local private hospitals - Circle Group, Spire etc.
On their website they should list their Consultants and what their specialities within Neurology are.
I’ve booked into one via Circle Group but even going private the earliest appointment I could get was 22nd November.
What area are you in?
Hope you find one soon and they give you either peace of mind or a diagnosis that you can then address.
