Hi,
Just wondered if with Ms fatigue people tend to find it constant or in waves. I never feel energetic, pretty much 24/7 I could happily drop off and have a nap, and in the morning my first thought is when can I go back to bed, but there are definitely distinct waves where I suddenly feel I just cannot carry on for the rest of the day, moving, smiling, talking, everything suddenly seems like moving through treacle. I’ve also noticed during these waves I feel very chilly and goosepimpley.
Is this just one of those things or is this familiar to people in an Ms sense? Still creating my little (very long!) list of things for the neuro appt when it eventually rolls round but I don’t want to include stuff that’s totally irrelevant and experienced by everyone in the general population or I’ll start to sound like a hypochondriac and I want them to take me seriously!
Thank you!
Simplest answer with regard to fatigue is that it depends what you’ve been doing!
My limits are so much lower than of old and getting lower. I’m PPMS so don’t have the RR- bit. One imagines that with RR, the fatigue is worse during a relapse? Or does that not correlate?
I’ve had a busy day and knackered now. My wife and I are about to sit down and watch something on TV, which in reality means she’ll watch it and I’ll fall asleep a few minutes in and will watch it later when I’ve woken up. She’ll be in bed by then, so I’ll mooch up to join her after I’ve watched it. Welcome to our world!
